My story
Seeking a New Home for Our 6-Year-Old Pit Bull / Lab Mix; 6 years old, ~70 lb pit bull/lab mix; Very affectionate, loyal, and people-oriented; Loves walks, playing outside, and relaxing on the couch with his people; Knows commands: place, sit, stay, and leave it; Food-motivated and eager to learn; Enthusiastic greeter and loves attention Things to know; Must be the only pet (does not get along with other dogs); Barks at unfamiliar visitors/deliveries and may scratch the door when excited; Strong chewer - stuffed toys don’t last long; Can counter surf if food is left out; Currently takes daily anxiety medication This has been a heartbreaking decision for our family after 6 years together, but with a newborn and another dog in the home we cannot safely manage the situation. Our goal is to find him a loving, stable home where he can thrive. Best fit: experienced dog owner, active home, only pet.
