My story

Say hello to Mee.co! A fluffy, fabulous tabby with a personality just as lovely as her coat. This long-haired white and brown beauty is about 9 years old and has mastered the art of being a calm, charming companion. She’s the kind of cat who appreciates the finer things in life: cozy naps, gentle pets, and a peaceful home where she can relax and be adored. Mee.co is medically up-to-date and FeLV+ (feline leukemia positive). She’s currently healthy, but he’ll need to live as an only cat or with other FeLV+ feline friends. What she needs most isn’t anything fancy—just a cozy home, a soft place to land, and someone ready for nonstop love and affection. At around 9 years old, Mee.co is past the kitten chaos stage and fully settled into her sweet, easygoing era. She’s looking for a kind human who understands that every cat deserves a chance and a soft place to land. If you’re ready to open your heart to a special girl with lots of love left to give, Mee.co would be honored to be your one-and-only feline friend. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
