My story

Mia is wondering why she`s at the shelter. She`s friendly to friends and family and kids and yet she is seeking a new home. She is a sweet girl who has always lived indoors; is playful; affectionate; quiet and an all-around great cat. Another cat in the home did not get along with Mia and now Mia is seeking a forever home as the only cat. Mia is 10 years old and looks forward to many years of happiness ahead of her. She is spayed, vaccinated and tested for Leukemia and FIV. She did test positive for FIV, but cats with this virus can live long & happy lives. FIV cannot be passed to humans and can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite, so please don`t let that deter you from adopting this beautiful girl. Her adoption fee has been waived by the county.
