Bella Mae

My story

Bella Mae is a sweet senior Australian shepherd who came to rescue after years of neglect. She quickly blossomed in her loving foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. Bella likes to sleep, eat, and get attention from her person, always wanting to be close by. She sometimes plays with stuffed toys or pushes a ball around, but is generally pretty low-key. She loves all humans – adults and kids – and they fall in love with her as soon as they meet. She is great with other dogs but doesn’t really want them sharing her dinner or her toys. She would be perfectly content as the only dog in the family. Bella Mae is very trustworthy in the house. She just naps and waits for her person to come home. She is potty trained, knows “sit” and “no” and is working on leash walking. Bella Mae would love a home where someone is around often because she loves the company. A physical, fenced yard would be great because she likes to hang out in the sun on nice days.  This sweet senior is being fostered in the St. Louis area.
