My story

MEET MARLO BLUE! Marlo Blue never saw the inside of Devore Animal Shelter. She and her siblings were foundlings who were welcomed into the safety of foster care in May of 2024 when they were just seven weeks old. Since then, this beautiful gray-and-white domestic shorthaired girl has grown up surrounded by feline friends, toys, and the comfort of a loving home. Instead of the chaos of a shelter, Marlo Blue’s kittenhood was spent learning to play, explore, and trust at her own pace. Shy but playful, Marlo Blue is a kitty with layers waiting to be discovered. She may greet new people with a cautious hiss at first, but it’s mostly for show—once she realizes you mean her no harm, she relaxes and enjoys gentle pets and interaction. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’s perfectly happy to hang out nearby and keep you company on her own terms. Marlo Blue especially loves playtime, whether it’s chasing a ball or batting a ball-track toy around the room. She thrives in the company of other cats and often joins them for games or curls up beside them for cozy naps.
