My story

Meet Zorro, a 3‑year‑old terrier mix who weighs just 10 pounds but has the heart of a giant. After living with a painful front‑leg fracture for nearly two years without medical care, Zorro finally got the help he deserved. His damaged leg was gently amputated, and now he’s pain‑free, happy, and thriving on three legs. Zorro is also heartworm positive, but he’ll begin his fast‑kill injections next week, and Sit Happens Rescue will cover and manage his full treatment. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. Zorro is gentle, affectionate, and endlessly grateful — the kind of dog who fits into any home and makes it better just by being there.
