My story

Meet Gretal, a gentle lady with a heart as sweet as her name. She recently attended an event and charmed everyone she met, including children, with her calm and loving demeanor. Gretal walks nicely on a leash, enjoys playing with toys, and is always happy to taste test just about any snack that comes her way. If you are looking for a kind companion with great manners and an even sweeter personality, Gretal is ready to go home and live happily ever after. All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati! To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
