My story

DO NOT apply through the GSRA website as this dog and owner are not affiliated with GSRA. We are looking for a rescue for our shop dog. We have a 5 year old German Shepherd female. She was given to us by a friend because we wanted a guard dog for our shop. Once we saw where she was living we knew we wanted to give her a better life. After we got her to our shop we realized how scared and shy she is. We have had her for at least 8 months and she has not gotten any better. She spends all her time in her dog house. She does great with a leash and is not aggressive but she is so scared of the world around her. She would easily run off if let off the leash or out of her fence. I bring her into the office everyday and she just lays under my desk. We are looking for a place that is not as loud as our shop so that she could live out the rest of her life. We did get her fixed and she is up to date on all her shots.
