My story

🌟 Spotlight on: Mickey! 🌟 Meet Mickey, a truly special orange gentleman who’s ready to find the right human to share his unique talents with. And his most impressive one? Mickey walks on a leash! 🧡🐾 That’s right — this handsome boy is curious, confident, and calm in a secure harness, happily exploring safe outdoor spaces alongside his person. For the right adopter, Mickey could be the perfect adventure buddy for supervised strolls, fresh air, and sunshine while staying safe. Not many cats can say that! But Mickey’s charm doesn’t stop there. He’s also: ✨ Neutered ✨ Rabies vaccinated ✨ Affectionate and people-loving Mickey has also been PCR tested as FeLV-regressive. This means he previously encountered the feline leukemia virus but his immune system successfully suppressed it. Cats with regressive FeLV: • Do not have active disease • Show no symptoms • Often live normal, healthy lives • Typically carry the virus in a latent (inactive) state Many regressive FeLV cats remain perfectly healthy companions for years. With regular veterinary care and an informed home, they can thrive just like any other beloved pet. What Mickey needs most now is someone who sees the magic in him — someone who appreciates a cat who greets the world with curiosity, enjoys human company, and might even join you for a safe outdoor walk in his harness. This orange explorer is ready for his next chapter. Could it be with you? 🧡 #AdoptDontShop #RescueCat #OrangeCatEnergy #AdventureCat #LeashTrainedCat #SpecialNeedsCat #FeLVRegressive #CatRescue #CatAdoption #AdoptMickey #RescueIsMyFavoriteBreed #CatsofMichigan #ForeverHomeWanted #SecondChancePets #AnimalRescue #FirstWatchRescue #CatLovers #AdoptableCat #RescueCatsRock #FindYourBestFriend 🐾
