My story

Huckleberry Pie is a one-year-old, 20-pound white and black Chihuahua mix with a bright spirit and a future full of possibility. Rescued from the well-known dog hoarding situation in Peoria that made the news, Huckleberry Pie hasn’t let his difficult beginnings dim his joyful personality. This little guy is fun-loving, playful, and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into an adventure. Whether he’s chasing a toy, trotting happily by your side, or soaking up attention, his upbeat nature shines through. While Huckleberry Pie is naturally cheerful, he will truly thrive with adopters who understand the importance of stability, patience, and consistent guidance. A structured home, positive reinforcement, and plenty of reassurance will help him continue building confidence and learning what it means to be a cherished family member. In return, he promises loyal companionship, entertainment, and endless affection. Huckleberry Pie’s $250 adoption fee includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital to help him start his new life off right.
