My story

Ozzie (cuddler extraordinaire)'s StoryWant a dog who will absolutely adore you? Meet Ozzie, a mixed breed lover, approximately 5 years old and abuot 15 pounds. Ozzie came to us in very neglected condition, and turned into a beauty once groomed. Like so many others, he may be timid initially but turns into a huge cuddler, good with dogs as well but we think he will also do well as a single dog in a home. Housebroken, like most of our small rescues would benefit from more general socialization with new situations etc. Will likely do better with adult home (or older calmer dog savvy teens).PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
