My story

Meet Dobby - the most pawfect, dapper dude in town! This 7 m/o Doberman x Min Pin x Rottie x Husky mix is Hollywood hunk, leading man status with ears that deserve their own IG account! He's truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs. He’s the kind of pup who makes you wonder how you got so lucky. Dobby is the kind of dog who makes himself at home in your heart within minutes. He'll greet you with the sweetest little tippy-tappy happy dance. Dobby LUVs people in that full-body, lean-into-you, follow-you-from-room-to-room kind of way. He’s affectionate without being overwhelming, playful without being chaotic, and incredibly tuned in to his humans. He adores other dogs and plays politely — reading the room, matching energy, and keeping things respectful. He’s not a big barker (your neighbors will appreciate that), he’s great in the car, and he already knows some basic manners like “sit.” He’ll even let you know when he needs to go outside and is mostly house trained. Beyond all of his wonderful traits, Dobby has a story that makes him even more special. He was found as a tiny puppy scavenging for food in an alley. A kind person rescued him and LUVingly rehabilitated him, helping him grow into the confident, affectionate, well-adjusted boy he is today. Sadly, his previous human is facing some mental health challenges and made the heartbreaking but loving decision to let him go so he could have stability and lifelong security. Dobby's learning the ropes of being alone in a crate; his foster pawrents are gently working with him on building comfort in those spaces. We do not yet know how he is with cats or other small animals, so a home without them — or one willing to do careful introductions — would be ideal. Dobby's ready for commitment. He's ready for consistency. Ready for someone who sees that he’s not just a cute, mixed-breed puppy. He’s a loyal companion in the making. Ready to fall in LUV?
