Jovie

My story

Jovie is a 4-year-old Lab/Greyhound mix that we adopted as a puppy from the Louisville ASPCA. She was originally rescued from the floods in Eastern Kentucky, and she’s been a loved part of our family ever since. Over the last few years our lives have changed a lot — we welcomed a baby, are expecting another soon, and recently relocated. With everything going on, we’ve realized that Jovie needs more exercise, engagement, and one-on-one attention than we’re able to give her right now, and we want to find her a home where she can truly thrive. Jovie is very smart, affectionate, and incredibly kind with people; she's been great with our child. She has a lot of energy and does best when mentally and physically engaged. Like many smart dogs, she can become anxious or reactive when bored or overstimulated, so she would do best with an experienced owner who can give her consistent activity and structure.
