My story

My first week with Ellie has been so full of joy. She is the sweetest girl with an overall calm demeanor. She has been recovering from an illness she got at the kennel, so we’ve been taking it easy with lots of rest and snuggles! Her personality has been coming out every day as she gets her strength back. She is a wonderful companion and always likes to know where I am. Wherever I am, Ellie is resting nearby! Someone had clearly been training her in her previous home, as she knows basic commands such as sit, stay, paw. She’s also house broken and crate trained. She has settled in beautifully and walks very nicely on a leash. She is not bothered by runners, bikers, trucks, buses or general city life. She is very friendly with people who stop to say hello and she absolutely loves when some of the neighborhood shops give her treats! She even just started to initiate games of fetch with her toys. Ellie needs a forever home with someone who can give her lots of attention and love. She is the perfect partner to keep you company!
