My story

Coal (grey & white) and Mellow (white and grey) are 11yr old male cats. Mellow was initially a stray that I took in several years ago and enjoys the comforts of being inside but also going outside on his own. Mellow is quite street smart since he survived outside for several years on his own. Coal is an indoor cat but enjoys going outside with supervision in nice weather when he gets a chance. Coal was born with a congenital condition called PPDH (Peritoneal-pericardial diaphragmatic hernia). This causes him nausea & vomiting periodically. He has an anti-nausea medication which he takes daily only when needed. Otherwise Coal has no special needs. Both cats are very affectionate & love cuddling & head rubs. Mellow is initially cautious around new people but warms up with treats & affection. Due to family situation I unfortunately am needing to rehome both cats to a loving home. Both cats get along but aren’t very bonded and therefore are available for adoption as a pair or separately.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Coal & Mellow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
