My story

She is a rescue. Found dodging cars on Jefferson Street in Joliet. No one claimed her. She has been to the vet for checkups several times. She had a very large tumor removed from her abdomen. it was benign .Her knees are fuzzed to the side of her legs, so she walks hunched over, but moves very good. Small dogs have patella’s that go out of place and hers knee caps went out so much that they fuzzed to the side of her leg. She is almost blind and very hard of hearing , I believe this is due to poor care from previous owners. She is very sweet but does not get along with my male dog. I believe this is because he is not neutered yet. She is ok with my others dogs and my daughters male dog who is neutered. I have 3 digs now and 4 is a lot. She is housebroken.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Xena, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
