Pico de Gato

My story

Pico is a loving, curious, adventurous cat who needs friends. She was found during a blizzard in December 2017 trapped in a bag in a Target Parking lot by my aunt. My aunt took her to the vet, who neutered her, gave her her shots, and declared she was about 6months at the time (We celebrate her birthday on August 15th). I took her in at the end of December 2017 and shes been with me since. Weve lived mostly with other roomates, sometimes other pets (including rabbits!). She prefers the added stimulation of multiple people and other animals. I find that since moving to my own apartment with no other pets, she has grown anxious. Albeit trying to add stimuli by additonal toys, treat puzzles, and letting her explore outside, she is struggling with behavior issues that multiple vets have declared is due to anxiety. (Theyve noted that highly intelligent cats can struggle with this sometimes). I also travel a lot for work, and am feeling extremely guilty leaving for weeks on end.
