My story

Winston’s journey is just beginning, and he’s ready to find his forever home. This sweet four-year-old boy has had a difficult start in life as a mill dog. After being rescued from that situation, he came to us to begin his fresh start—and he’s making steady progress every day. Winston is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Now, he just needs a patient and understanding family to help him continue to blossom. Winston is what we lovingly call a “project” dog. He’s still learning what it means to be a cherished member of a family, and he’ll thrive in a calm, predictable environment where he can move at his own pace. With time, kindness, and consistency, he will continue gaining confidence and discovering the joys of being a beloved companion. A securely fenced yard is required so Winston can safely explore and build confidence in his surroundings.
