Luke

My story

We have had Luke for the past 6 years. He absolutely loves going on walks and car rides. He is otherwise content to relax and snuggle. When we adopted him, he had not been socialized with other animals. He is fine with some distance but is uncomfortable in close proximity of dogs that are bigger than him, especially. We live a very social life and he loves it when people come over. He gets excited and then settles quickly. We have a toddler and lots of young kids in our life now and Luke can become territorial with dropped food or something that he finds. We feel that he would do best with an adult(s) or family with older children. He would do best as the only pet. He is very easy from the standpoint that can go 8+ hours if you need him to and has never pottied in the house or chewed on anything. He is a good companion.
