My story

Athena & Hermes — Brave Hearts, Big Purrsonalities  Hi, we’re Athena and Hermes.Yes — like the Greek gods. And no, that’s not an accident. We were rescued right here in San Francisco… on Athens Street. So obviously, legendary names were required. We didn’t exactly have a soft beginning. We were born outdoors, where the world is loud and unpredictable for tiny kittens. Luckily, kind humans stepped in before street life shaped us too much. Now we’re safe, warm, and discovering that indoor life comes with ribbon toys, cozy beds, and humans who adore us. We can be a little shy at first — we like to observe before we fully commit. But give us a little time (and maybe wave a ribbon toy around), and you’ll quickly see who we really are. I’m Athena. Brave explorer. First to investigate. Chief inspector of anything new. New room? I’m in it. Strange sound? I’ll check it out. TV turned on? I am completely captivated. Birds, moving shapes, dramatic music — I watch it like it’s high art. I love head scratches. Love them. My purr motor switches on instantly and doesn’t power down. I’m extremely friendly once I know you, and I’m not shy about using my voice to chat about my day. Being held? Not really my thing. I prefer all four paws on solid ground. But I’ll sit near you, follow you from room to room, and keep the purring soundtrack going. And I’m Hermes. Toy hunter. Mouse assassin. Ribbon warrior. Small mouse-shaped toys? I take my hunting very seriously. I play hard, hunt hard, and commit fully. I leap, twist, and tumble like it’s the Olympics. I may look fearless mid-pounce, but I’m actually a bit of a scaredy cat with new things. I like to see what Athena does first — she’s my brave sister. Once I know it’s safe, I’m all in. And unlike her? I don’t mind being held at all. Belly rubs are highly encouraged. Together, we are extremely playful, wildly entertaining, and deeply bonded. We warm up to strangers faster than you’d expect, especially if toys are involved. Ribbon toys are a shared favorite, and at night, we sleep by our foster’s legs — close enough to feel safe, but still independent little legends. From Athens Street to your living room, our story is just getting started. Are you ready to welcome two brave little hearts home? Please note: Hermes should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1776063630&src=aap]
