Collins firmly believes the best seat in the house is whichever one is closest to you. Preferably touching you. Just to be safe. This beautiful girl with the biggest, most soulful eyes bonds deeply with her humans. Once you’re in her circle, you’re in for life. She follows her foster like a devoted little shadow and is convinced that every task is better when done as a team. Cooking dinner? Together. Folding laundry? Together. Sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing? Especially together. In Collins’ world, personal space is more of a suggestion. She can be shy when meeting new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. But once she feels safe, she melts. Truly melts. She’ll lean into you like she’s been yours forever. Collins takes her role as “loyal sidekick” very seriously. Batman had Robin. You’ll have Collins. She is currently building confidence during life’s solo moments, like when her people leave the house. Because she bonds so deeply, being alone hasn’t always been her favorite thing. The good news? She’s making wonderful progress with structure, consistency, and medication support. We’re already seeing her grow braver. She will need a patient, understanding home, committed to continuing that journey and cheering her on. Collins would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not and where she has a confident canine sibling. Another dog isn’t just a bonus for her; it’s truly important. She gains comfort and confidence from having a dog friend to follow and learn from. She loves other dogs and does well with cats, too! And if she wasn’t cute enough already, Collins knows some Spanish! Bilingual queen energy. She’s looking for a calm, stable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.
