My story

Misha is a handsome boy who’s been through a lot. After losing his beloved owner, he found himself suddenly in a shelter—and that kind of heartbreak takes time to heal. Because of this, Misha can be a little intimidating at first. When he’s scared, he’s a fight boy, not a flight boy, and he needs someone who understands that fear comes from loss, not meanness. The quickest way into Misha’s good graces? Patience, grilled chicken, and freeze-dried minnows. Like many boys, the way to his heart is absolutely through his stomach. Once Misha feels safe, his true personality shines. He turns into the sweetest, most laid-back guy—full of adorable chirps to get your attention, always ready for good neck scratches, and happy to just hang out with his person. He’s not a rush-in kind of cat, but if you give him time, consistency, and kindness, he will reward you with deep trust and quiet companionship. Misha is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can finally feel secure again—and where his next chapter is filled with love, snacks, and patience.
