My story

We got Sherbet a few years ago from a shelter, she was very shy and timid and spent most of her time hiding when we first got her. She remains shy to this day, and will run to hide when a stranger comes in or one of us makes sudden loud noises. She has started to come out of her shell especially in the evening for attention and pets. She doesn't like to snuggle but will sit next to you and get pet or brushed. She likes to watch you with her large eyes from across the room and look out windows. She is very food motivated and smart, knows the routine of me giving her breakfast in the morning and my roommate dinner in the evening, and has gotten really good at different treat puzzles. Sherbet would be perfect for a quiet house where she can sit and look out the window and greet you when you're home. She gets very affectionate in the evenings and bed time pets is her favorite activity. Once she comes out of her shell, she is very friendly and affectionate.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sherbet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
