My story

Introducing Shire! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 1/27. Shire is 4 years old and weighs in at 56 pounds. He is such a sweetheart, laid back and quiet. He is a perfect gentleman on the leash. He knows to sit when asked. He likes to cuddle with his toy on his bed. This little man is looking for a forever love. Would you give Shire a chance? Ask for ID# 16561 Run 807. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
