My story

Remy is a confident, athletic young cat with a big, sturdy build and the most unexpected little voice—his high-pitched squeaks and pigeon-like chatter make him as entertaining as he is handsome. He’s a cat who knows what he likes, and food is definitely at the top of that list! You’ll often find him stretched out on whatever surface he’s claimed for the moment, fully embracing his role as king of the house. Remy has a playful, energetic side and loves batting around toys and zooming through bursts of activity. At the same time, he does enjoy connection with his people and will happily settle in for some lap time—on his terms. He’s a smart, independent thinker with a bit of a stubborn streak, and when he’s had enough attention or gets overstimulated, he’ll let you know. Because of his size, a jumbo litter box is recommended to keep him comfortable. Remy would do best as the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the attention without the stress of sharing his space. He’s looking for an experienced, patient adopter who understands cat behavior and will respect his cues while giving him the structure and enrichment he needs to thrive.
