My story

Hi, I’m Shelby!I’m a Coonhound mix, with a loving heart and fun personality. I sometimes have a lot to say when I am trying to communicate- Toss me a ball, take me for a walk or rub my belly and I’m your happiest pup.I’m super friendly, love meeting new people, and I’m told I’m pretty easy to train — especially if snacks are involved. I’m very food-motivated, which makes me a quick learner and a great student. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, fetch-loving best friend who will happily chat about his day, I’m your guy.I am very smart. I know how to sit and shake a paw. I love going for car rides, and am well behaved in the car. I am good with kids and would make a great family dog.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: Yes, I love everyone!OTHER DOGS: I get very excited when I first see other dogs, so I need to meet them when I am calm.CATS: I would likely be ok with a slow introduction.WALKING ON LEASH: I need to work on this with you.
