My story

Maui is a sweet 7-year-old deaf grey and white pit bull with a calm, gentle soul. Shelter staff often find him sound asleep on his bed—an irresistibly cute sight! He walks beautifully on leash and is happiest strolling right by your side. Maui enjoys playing with tennis balls and absolutely melts for a good butt scratch. He’d do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. Maui is also open to meeting children over the age of 16. He is a laid-back companion looking for a cozy home and a human to share life’s quiet moments with.------------------------------If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person. We cannot accept any applications online or through email, and we cannot hold any specific animal for a potential adopter.You do not need an appointment to walk through our shelter, so please stop by any time during our adoption hours.You must follow the guidelines for our adoption process listed on our website (https://womensanimalcenter.org/our-animal-shelter/adoption-process-fees) to be able to meet and adopt one of our dogs.If the animal you are interested in still has an active photo on our website, they are still at the shelter and available!PA Kennel License #1516
