My story

Hi there…my name is Rebel. I’m a handsome, medium-to-long–haired boy with a coat that looks jet black at first glance—but if you look closely, you’ll find soft hints of smoky gray tucked into my belly and woven through my fur. It’s my little secret. 🖤 My brother and I were rescued when we were about 12–13 weeks old, and before that, we didn’t have much experience with humans. Because of that, I can be very shy at first. I’m not the kind of kitten who rushes right up to strangers—but if you’re gentle, patient, and kind, I promise I’m worth the wait. Once I start to feel safe, you’ll see my sweet side shine. I absolutely love ear and chin scratches, and playtime with balls that have bells is one of my favorite ways to build confidence and have fun. And if you really want to win my heart? Food and Churus are the fastest way. I won’t say no to those. 😉 I’m neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m looking for a calm, understanding home with someone who will let me move at my own pace and celebrate every little milestone with me. With time, love, and patience, I know I’ll blossom into a devoted companion. I would do well in a home with other cats and very calm cat-friendly dogs. I also would do well with older children. I am sure I would be okay with younger children after time. If you believe the best bonds are built slowly and with trust, I just might be your perfect match. 🐾💙
