My story

Hi my name is Keiko. I will be 9 yrs old in July, 2026. I am 100% pure breed American Standard Akita. As us Akitas I am very independent. I have lived with my human Dad and doggie dad since I was born. I've never been around any small humans, (kids). I need a new home with a yard and fence since my Dad is moving out of the country and I can't go. I like people generally, but like all Akitas, I really don't care for other animals. I am completely house trained and very clean. I'd like a new home with parents that have owned other large breed dogs, any past Akita ownership is a big plus, because you know....we are special dogs. I will always be loyal and respect you, as long as you treat me the same. If you love me I will definitely love you, but we don't need a lot of hands on affection. I will always be their for you, sleeping next to your bed, on the floor, if you need me. I would say my biggest fault is I am possessive of my bones and stuff, but I will also respect your stuff.
