My story

Meet JoJo, a handsome 5yearold gentleman who’s slowly but surely letting his personality shine. When he first arrived, JoJo wasn’t quite sure what to make of all the new sights and sounds. But with a little time, patience, and kindness, he’s begun to show us his sweet, cautiously curious side. JoJo watches the world with thoughtful eyes, taking everything in before deciding it’s safe to lean in for affection. And once he does, you can practically see him imagining the warm, safe lap he hopes to call his own. We have a feeling this beautiful boy is going to be a volunteer favorite and an even better companion for the lucky person who brings him home. The adoption fee is $125+ tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. 2025 Town and Country Animal Rescue Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday!! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
