CALVIN

My story

Calvin is a 3 year old, male, Lab mixed breed. His past includes a very tough chapter. He was hit by a car down south in October and suffered a pelvic fracture, which required months of strict cage rest. He handled it with patience and thanks to good veterinary care and time, he is now back on his feet and ready to make up for lost playtime. He is a very happy boy with enough energy to power an entire playgroup. His tail seems to have only two speeds, fast and faster, and his enthusiasm for life is contagious. Play is absolutely his love language. He enjoys romping with other energetic dogs and matches their enthusiasm happily. More mature or low key dogs may find him a bit much, but for dogs who like to run, wrestle, and have fun, Calvin is your perfect match. He is up to date on vaccinations. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d or apply to foster by clicking here: http://bit.ly/44o1WJz - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
