My story

Cornest is a beautiful Hemingway cat, all white with dark gray spots, and an absolute sweetheart. He is wonderful with kids and has the calmest, most comforting presence—perfectly content to lay with you all day long. At the same time, he has a playful side and enjoys gentle fun. Cornist gets along well with just about everyone, including other cats and dogs, and adapts easily to his surroundings. His name comes from combining “corn” (our cat-naming theme) with Ernest Hemingway, a nod to the type of cat he is. If we could keep him, we absolutely would, but due to significant allergies in our home, we can no longer provide the indoor life he deserves. We love him deeply and want him to go to a safe, loving home where he can be cherished rather than confined outdoors.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cornest, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
