My story

This is Squidney Sweeney, but she goes by Squid for short! She is the sweetest girl. She loves to cuddle and her favorite thing in the world in neck scratches. I recently had a baby, and she is a little jealous and it makes me nervous to have her around. I have had her for 5 years, I rescued her from a shelter in Ohio and we moved to Arizona together two years later. She is good with small dogs, a little hesitant at first, but after a week or so, she coexists very well. She has briefly been around large dogs and mostly just stays away. I’m not sure if being in a home with a large dog would be comfortable for her. When I rescued her, they said she was between 6-8 years old so she’s likely 11-13 now. She does not like other cats, but she would thrive as an only pet or with a small dog. She is such a sweet girlie, very low maintenance, litter box trained, and just grazes on food put out for her rather than mewing for it daily. She loves to snuggle at night. No medial concerns.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Squidney (aka Squid), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
