She gets along famously with everyone she meets—dogs, cats, and kids alike. Luna is a perfect houseguest, as she is both potty and crate trained. Her ideal day involves lounging on a comfy bean bag chair, happily chewing on her favorite Benebone treat.Luna came to us in very poor condition, almost as if she had already given up the will to live. With determination, great care of her foster parents, good nutrition and kindness she made a full recovery and has become quite the character. However, Luna is heartworm positive. We have given her all medications according to the heartworm treatment protocol but decided, for the time being due to her age and body condition, against the Melarsomine injections.
