My story

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Violet and Daisy are one-year-old sibling Chihuahua mixes who are as sweet as they are adorable. They look like twins!  Each weighing around 9 pounds, these girls love being together—they truly bring out the best in one another. They can be a little shy when meeting new people, so they’ll need a patient and understanding family willing to give them the time and space to feel safe. Once they warm up, their personalities really begin to shine! They love to play, zoom around like little wind-up toys, and enjoy each other’s company every step of the way. One of their cutest quirks? A love for water! Whether it’s splashing in a doggie pool or just playing nearby, they have a fun, playful energy that’s hard not to smile at. Violet and Daisy get along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making them a great fit for a variety of homes. Their gentle nature and close sibling bond make them extra special. These sweet girls are ready to find a loving forever family who will give them the care, patience, and affection they deserve. If you’re looking for double the love and companionship, Violet and Daisy are ready to meet their happily ever after—together.  Violet and Daisy's adoption fee $300 for the pairWe do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
