My story

*To arrange a meet and greet and ensure a smooth introduction, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us the necessary time to coordinate schedules with their wonderful foster family.*Hi, I’m Twig! I’m a 7-month-old Great Pyrenees/Cattle Dog mix. I’m super affectionate, love being close to my people, enjoy going on walks, and snuggling in your lap. I’m also a smart girl who really enjoys learning! I do best with structure and routine; it helps me feel confident and understand what’s expected of me. I already know some great manners like sitting before meals and doorways, and I love practicing on my walks. I’ve got a playful side too (ask me about my favorite squeaky tug toy!), but I’m just as happy settling down with a good chew or a cozy nap. Because I’m still learning how to manage my excitement, I’m looking for an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner who can continue guiding me. I can sometimes get a little mouthy when I’m overstimulated, and I’m working on feeling more comfortable sharing my things, so having someone who understands and is committed to training is really important for me. I promise I’m worth it! I am good with cats, but still working on being comfortable around other dogs, so for now, I would do best as an only dog. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and so ready to find my person. Adoption fee is $350. If you’re patient, committed, and looking for a deeply loving, loyal companion, I might just be your girl.
