My story

This is my boy cooper. I love this dog more than I could ever explain and it pains me that I’ve gotten to this point. Cooper needs a new home where he will have more attention and the same love I have given him for the last 5 years. I rescued cooper in December of 2019 and have given him everything I can. Last year he had surgery for both rear ACL’s (Bilateral TPLO) by an amazing surgeon and he has recovered perfectly. He’s back to running around and playing fetch at 95% of what he used to be. The not so good. He’s somewhat dog aggressive and is uneasy around very young children at his eye level. He has skin allergies and requires cytopoint injections monthly to remain comfortable. Rehoming because my significant other has a small dog and we can't risk the possibility of injury. He’s a fantastic dog, knows all the commands, and he’s been my partner for years and my heart breaks knowing I can’t keep him around.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cooper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
