My story

Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.  If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application.   Meet Cosmo! Cosmo is such a handsome young fella. He comes to us from Ensenada, Baja.  He is currently fostered at casa de ARWOB along with several other foster kitty friends and dogs.  When he first arrived early October he was terrified of cats and would SCREAM bloody murder when he saw them. We really wanted to move him to a single cat foster home but could not find one so we worked with what we got! Happy we did because within 2 months those screams became less and less and he became brave to start exploring the house and venture out of his room. He has now been fostered with us for a couple of months and you see him enjoy his feline friends running around, playing tag, playing soccer and his favorite hunting little stuffed fluffy mice and carrying in his mouth. He loves to cuddle with different foster kitty siblings and now adores cat friends even when we have newbies arrive. He is ok around dogs but he prefers the calm dogs who aren't rushing through the door and are gentle and not crazy with him. He is very loving toward humans and likely would enjoy children. Before we thought for sure a 'one cat only' home was needed but now we know he would be bored and lonely without cat friendship unless its a large family who will keep him entertained with plenty of toys and human attention then he can be an only kitty. Cosmo is a healthy strong neutered young teem male who is felv/fiv negative and more than ready to go home before the holidays! To adopt this cutie please submit applications online at ARWOB.org we do not hold cat adoption events and only do meets at their foster homes for this reason we need to process adoption applications before scheduling a meet. Do know once we receive an application we will email or text you to schedule a call so we can finish processing your application and talk about the process in order to hopefully move fwd to schedule a meet.
