Finch

My story

Finch came to us with his brother, Ford.  They were surrendered from a family that had too many dogs they could not take care of.  He is a little on the shy side, but warms up quickly with treats and gentle pets.  His nick-name is "Mouth" because he gets his mouth searching all over us, looking for treats. Finch will not get much bigger than he is now. He has only been outdoors, but loves laying inside the shelter on his bed, chewing on toys.  Finch is partially house trained and prefers to go outside of his room.  He would be good with other dogs and older, considerate kids (his searching for treats could overwhelm a small child).  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.March 7, 2026, 11:00 am
