RORY

My story

This handsome shepherd mix is Rory! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 11/10, and no one has come to reclaim him. Rory is hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe him as a very nice, friendly dog. He loves getting outside each day for his walk, and he sits nicely for treats. If Rory sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him! Rory is approximately 3 years old, and weighs 54 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered upon adoption. Rory is waiting in kennel 77; his ID # is 15003. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
