My story

OLLIE is a fantastic dog who is being cared for by one of our trusted rescue partners. OLLIE is NOT a Woof River dog. Ollie is a gentle soul with a heart full of warmth and a calm, dignified presence. This handsome pup enjoys affection and leans into pets like it’s his favorite thing in the world. A great travel companion, Ollie rides beautifully in the car—quiet, relaxed, and happy to go wherever life takes him. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and carries himself with a friendly, regal composure that makes him a pleasure to be around. Ollie has a medium energy level: he enjoys his walks and playtime, but afterwards, he’s the picture of tranquility—content to lounge peacefully by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered dog with an air of calm confidence and a loving heart, Ollie might just be your perfect match. Like all of Woof River's dogs, OLLIE will be beginning his journey in Memphis, Tennessee where he will remain until adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions.
