My story

Meet Nico! 🏒 Named after the New Jersey Devils’ captain, this 2 year old, 65 pound hound mix. As the devoted mom to her litter of pups, all of whom have been adopted, Nico has shown true captain qualities: patience, loyalty, and a heart big enough for everyone on her team. Yet she’s still waiting for her own forever home. Now it’s her turn to hang up the mom whistle and enjoy some well deserved me time. Nico is gentle, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. She loves people, playing with other dogs, and is very respectful of their boundaries. The funniest thing about Nico? She’ll lay down while eating or drinking, loaf around for hours, and if you talk to her, her tail goes a million miles a minute. She also loves rolling over for belly rubs. Her foster says, "she’s incredibly sweet and loving and truly deserves all the love in the world." Whether she’s leading warmups on a walk or claiming her spot on the couch for post game snuggles, this captain is ready to skate straight into her forever home. Nico's spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all core vaccines.
