Lieutenant Dan! Ice cream! No shrimp boat required — just a couch, some snacks, and a heart ready for unconditional love. Meet Lieutenant Dan (aka Dan the Man), a 60-lb velvet pillow who has seen some things but still believes life is like a box of chew toys — you never know what you’re gonna get, but it’s probably adorable. Dan may not run across America, but he walks like a dream on leash, is house-trained, crate-trained, and has officially mastered the art of being a proper Southern gentleman. He’s calm, sweet, and prefers cuddles over chaos. This is not a ping-pong-chasing lifestyle dog. This is a lean back, watch the world go by kind of guy.
