My story

🐾 Meet Homer! 🐾Approx. 2–3 years old | German Shepherd Mix | Neutered | Microchipped | Up to Date on VaccinesSay hello to Homer — a handsome German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality once he feels comfortable! Homer came to us as a stray with his friend Marge, so we don’t know much about his past — but one thing’s for sure, he’s ready for a loving new beginning. At first, Homer may be a little reserved while he checks out new people and surroundings, but once he warms up, his sweet, playful side shines through. He’s a smart boy who appears to be housetrained and doesn’t seem to be a big barker — always a nice bonus!Homer recently had surgery to correct entropion, a condition that caused his eyelids to roll inward and irritate his eyes. He’s healing beautifully and feeling so much more comfortable now — ready to see the world clearly and enjoy life to the fullest! He would do best in a home where he can continue to build confidence and get plenty of love, playtime, and guidance. If you have other dogs, a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone gets along. We’re not sure how he does with cats.If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who’s ready to be your best buddy, Homer just might be your guy! šŸ’™šŸ“ž Interested in meeting Homer?Call 928-636-4223 ext. 7 to schedule an appointment and see if he’s the perfect fit for your family!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Homer, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
