My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Woori Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Colour: White Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Woori — a gentle soul with a quiet heart. I was born in the Bucheon City Shelter after my mom was brought in. Not long after, we were placed on the euthanasia list — but rescuers stepped in just in time to save us both. As a young puppy, I went to a foster home, but sadly, I faced neglect and mistreatment. Thankfully, I was brought back into loving care. I’m now healthy, safe, and ready for the peaceful forever home I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH No known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a calm, thoughtful, and kind-hearted dog who finds comfort in the simple things — a warm sunbeam, a quiet spot by the window, or a gentle hand. I may be shy at first, but once I feel safe, my affectionate and playful side shines through. I’m not loud or demanding; I bond deeply with those who are patient and gentle, and I show my love in small, heartwarming ways.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m sensitive and sweet. I may need time to open up, but with patience, treats, and kindness, I’ll soon be leaning in for pets and resting my head in your lap. I even enjoy being held once I trust you. I thrive on gentle affection and meaningful connection. With Dogs: I’m friendly and polite with other dogs, especially those my size or smaller. I take my time before playing, but once I’m comfortable, I love running and sharing toys or treats. I walk away from drama — kindness is more my style. With Cats: I haven’t met any yet, but based on my gentle nature, I’d likely adjust well with calm, respectful feline friends.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate puppy energy level. I enjoy walks and time outdoors, but I settle easily once I’ve had my fill. I might get nervous with sudden noises, but I’m getting better every day. I also love sitting quietly by a window, watching the world go by — it helps me feel grounded and at peace.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard food — I share calmly with people and dog friends I’m quiet and relaxed in my kennel I rarely bark — I bring a calm presence to the home I’m mostly potty-trained outdoors but can also use indoor pee pads if needed I respond well to kindness, routine, and gentle encouragement   MY IDEAL HOME I’d be happiest in a calm, stable home with people who understand that good things take time. My ideal family would: Be loving and patient, giving me space to open up at my own pace Enjoy peaceful companionship and quiet bonding moments Provide a safe, secure environment where I can feel truly protected and loved Offer gentle structure, continued leash training, and lots of reassurance   SPECIAL NOTES I’ve lived through a tough beginning, but I’ve never let it harden my heart. I still believe in love — and I’m ready to share mine with the right family. I may need time to warm up, but once I do, you’ll see how much sweetness, loyalty, and quiet joy I have to give. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to share calm mornings, peaceful walks, and quiet evenings with — I’m right here, waiting for you.   Woori's YouTube Playlist ##2559292##
