My story

Meet Paddy! Paddy is a sweet, silly 15lbs white Poodle mix who traveled all the way from Mexico in search of his forever home is being fostered in Toronto. Once a street dog, he’s quickly embraced the comforts of family life — soft beds, cozy cuddles, and, of course, plenty of treats! At just 2 years old, Paddy is currently being fostered in Toronto and is loving every moment of his new life. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long, so he’s best suited to a home (no condos, please!) where someone is around most of the day to keep him company. This affectionate little guy adores being close to his people and giving gentle kisses. While he’s polite with other dogs, Paddy isn’t particularly interested in playtime with them — he much prefers human companionship and a good belly rub. He’s very food-motivated, which makes him an eager and fun student for training sessions. Paddy can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new environments, but once he feels safe, his joyful and cuddly personality shines through. He’s house-trained, non-destructive, and enjoys calm walks where he can take his time sniffing and exploring. Loud noises, like big trucks, can still make him a little nervous, but he’s becoming braver every day. Paddy is a loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger appetite for life. He’s ready to share his joy, kisses, and snuggles with a family who will continue to show him that the world is a safe and happy place. ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
