My story

Marley is a 4 year old, 33 pound, German Shorthair Pointer mix.  She is the definition of an “easy dog” — happy to go with the flow and fit right into your routine.  She never stops wagging her tail.  She’s a gentle soul who adores being around other dogs—snuggling is her favorite, but she’s not one for rough play.  Marley is in a foster home with 3 other dogs, large and small, and gets along with each of them.  She would love a home with another calm dog companion.  People and kids? She loves them all!   Marley is perfectly content to relax by your side or curl up for a nap.  She’s crate trained, non-destructive, and quiet—she’ll only let out some barks if she spots something exciting outside. Marley is potty trained with frequent outings and getting better everyday!    She’s always up for exploring the outdoors.  Whether you want a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a sweet pup to blend seamlessly into your family, Marley is the one. Fenced yard and a companion dog required.  Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care.
