Probably snuggled under the blankets or glued happily to someone’s side! This big, gentle boy is the definition of a cuddlebug, and after a tough start in life, he’s finally ready for the love and comfort he’s always craved. Scooby was saved from the SPCA, where he spent far too long in a kennel. It was no place for a dog who loves people and snuggles as much as he does. Now, in a home environment, Scooby is truly thriving. He’s calm, quiet, and easygoing inside — rarely barking, settling easily, and charming every person he meets with his affectionate nature. He’s fantastic with kids, always gentle and mindful of his size, and careful not to knock little ones over. Playtime brings out his silly side — he adores zoomies in the yard, tennis balls, squeaky toys, and anything that involves you joining in the fun. He’s not possessive, loves to share his toys, and is a joy to play with. When it’s time to relax, his favorite place is pressed against you, resting his big head in your lap or sneaking in a kiss. He even loves being sung the Scooby Doo song and will dance along, wagging his tail with pure joy. Scooby is wonderfully well-mannered in the house and shows no signs of separation anxiety. He’s happy to nap, chew on squeaky toys, or just snooze at your feet until it’s time for the next cuddle session. He’s also great in the car — calm, happy, and always hoping for a hand to rest his head in along the ride. This boy has been through so much, but his resilience and sweetness shine through. What he wants most is a forever home where he’ll never be lonely again — a place filled with love, snuggles, and people who see just how special he is.
