My story

Hi I’m Rosie and I’m a 8 yr old JRT/Corgi mix. Check out my spectacular short legs and feet. I love to sniff like a hound which is cute to watch. Sometimes I get very distracted with whatever I’m sniffing so you may have to call me a couple of times. All those scents are so exciting to me! It’s like a chat room for dawgs! You might be surprised to learn that I can “FLY” with these little stubbies legs. Nothing holds me back! I’m pretty vocal about my opinions but it comes out as a soft whimper or a growly sound. But I’m not growling-just so we’re clear on that. I make the sounds when It’s time for..you guessed it.. FOOD!! Lol. Or anything related to food. Or crumbs on the floor lol I’m learning how to play with other dogs.. You can tell by my enthusiastic play bow moves with my tail wagging a mile a minute. I make those growly sounds then too. I’m a very happy, confident dog who will love on anyone and I show it with my ever- wagging tail and big brown eyes. Please make room for me on the couch because I love to be up close and personal so you can pet me. I don’t take up much space I promise. I will lean on you for those snuggles. I’ve learn some great commands such as “No”, “stop”, “come”, “down”, “off”, “sit” “stay”, “back”. I'm looking for a forever family where I'll be the centre of attention or fur sibling that will help me learn to play. I am both crate trained and housed trained and best suited in a home with mature children. Rosie is being lovingly fostered Quinte West, ON If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please complete an application on our website: https://www.jrnc.org/adoption-application.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rosie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
