My story

I might look like a mini Golden Retriever — compact and cuddly — but my heart is just as golden as any big retriever out there. My name is Harry, and I’ve already been through a lot in my short life, but I’m learning fast how beautiful the world can be. I was rescued from deep in the mountains, where I lived tied up with my brother Suri since we were just tiny puppies. Back then, I didn’t know how to play. I didn’t even know if it was okay to approach people. I was scared, quiet, and unsure of the world. But everything changed when I was rescued and shown love for the very first time. Now? I run. I play. I wag my tail when I see people, hoping they’ll play with me too. I’m still growing, still learning, but I’m becoming the bright, loving dog I was always meant to be. Like any young Golden Retriever, I’m gentle, smart, and very people-oriented. I’ve got lots of energy and curiosity — but also a quick mind. I’m picking up on social skills and basic commands really well. I walk nicely on a leash, and each walk brings me closer to the person beside me. I can feel those bonds growing deeper every day. Since I’ve never lived in a home before, I might feel unsure at first. When left alone, I may get anxious or chew things out of curiosity. But with a consistent routine, loving guidance, and your patience, I know I’ll learn quickly and become the kind of companion who never leaves your side. I may be small for a Golden Retriever, but that just means I fit more perfectly in your arms. My heart is big, my spirit is warm, and I’m so ready to give all of myself to a family who sees me not just as a rescue — but as their forever.
